  • Expectations and Agreements

  • Minimum Requirements to be eligible for an Art scholarship:

    • Remain enrolled full-time for the length of the scholarship
    • Maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA
    • Be interested in Art
    • Have demonstrated talent in art
    • Meet regularly with the Scholarship Advisor (3 times per semester)
    • Assist with Art activities
    • Enroll in an approved Art classes each semester you are receiving the scholarship (unless you've already taken the course)
  • You must take at least one (1) subject specific classes each semester. Do you agree and have the availability in your schedule to do this?*

  • Time Committment

    This scholarship has a time commitment of about 30 hours per semester. This time can be spent doing a variety of activities including but not limited to:

    • Gallery installations
    • Art Show Openings
    • Cleaning the art room
    • Mixing glazes
    • Staffing the Art Club table at a Sandburg event
  • This scholarship has a weekly time commitment of roughly 1.5-2 hours. Can you commit to fulfilling this obligation?*
  • Your answers to the previous questions have indicated that you might not meet the minimum requirements for this scholarship. If you feel that your circumstances may warrant an exception, you may reach out to the scholarship advisor directly to discuss.

    Non-Traditional students (those graduated more than three years ago) should discuss particulars with Lisa D. Walker.
