Life Happens Grant Application

The Sandburg Foundation offers support for students facing unexpected financial challenges. The Life Happens grant helps students continue their education at Sandburg and achieve their goals. The Foundation may assist with one-time, non-recurring expenses that are an emergency situation. Please review all eligibility requirements below before applying. For questions regarding the Life Happens grant, contact the Sandburg Foundation at foundation@sandburg.edu or 309.341.5349. Please note: Students are required to have direct deposit set up in mySandburg in order to receive grant funding from the Sandburg Foundation. Please see below for details.

If approved for funding, payments will typically be made directly to the vendor, service provider, or creditor on the student's behalf. In some cases funds may be issued directly to the student if no other payment method is feasible.
